Great Ocean Walk Tours & Packages

The Great Ocean Walk stretches for over 100km from Apollo Bay to the Twelve Apostles. Port Campbell Touring Company can organise two to six day walk packages on the magnificent Great Ocean Walk for groups of two to twenty. We offer walking packages both from Melbourne and from Port Campbell.

The two Great Ocean Walk Packages shown below are offered as guided walks. Port Campbell Touring Company will provide an experienced guide. In addition to transport and accommodation, all packages include cooked breakfasts, prepacked lunch for the walk and dinner each evening in a Port Campbell restaurant. Evening sunset guided tours of the Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge at sunset are also included in these package.

If you wish to “self guide”, please contact us and we will be more than happy to supply a quote on a self guided basis.

We will be happy to work with you in planning your walk to suit your needs. We can organise all meals (including packed lunches), accommodation, day pickups and drop offs, and transport to and from Melbourne if required.  For "self drive" walkers simply drive direct to Port Campbell and we will provide safe, secure parking. This ensures you have your vehicle at the end of the walk which allows you to explore the rest of the magnificent Apostle Coast.

VLine offers easy daily access from Melbourne's Southern Cross Train Station to Camperdown where Timboon Taxis or Port Campbell Touring Company can transport you to Port Campbell in just 40 minutes.

Port Campbell Touring Company is a Great Ocean Walk partner with Parks Victoria. As Port Campbell Touring Company is based in Port Campbell, we specialise in the half of the walk (from Cape Otway to Twelve Apostles).

Accommodation for walkers undertaking the half of the walk is at Anchors, Southern Ocean Villas or Portside Motel.

Great Ocean Walk - from Melbourne
Port Campbell Touring Company is offering the following Four Day Great Ocean Walk special commencing from Melbourne: Day 1     Melbourne to Port Campbell (direct) and evening tour of the Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge Day 2     Aire River to Johanna Beach (12 kms) Day 3     Milanesia Beach to Moonlight Head (13 kms) Day 4     Gable to Twelve Apostles (19kms) or Princetown to Twelve Apostles (5 kms) Day 5     Return to Melbourne via tour of the Great Ocean Road   This package includes transfers to and from Melbourne, including a full tour of the Great Ocean Road, four nights accommodation in Port Campbell (including cooked breakfasts), a personalised guide on the walk, packed lunches, dinner in a Port Campbell restaurant each night, as well as a guided tour of the Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge and a well deserved massage.
Seafood and Walks Package
This package has been designed to provide an opportunity to experience both the Great Ocean Walk (the "Wild side") and the small seaside township of Port Campbell. The evening meal at Waves Restaurant will be based around locally caught crayfish, ensuring a truly enjoyable meal. Day 1     Arrive and walk Aire River to Johanna Day 2     Walk Milanesia to Moonlight head Day 3     Walk Gable to Twelve Apostles (or Princetown) Day 4     Personalised Half Day Tour of the Apostles/Loch Ard Gorge/Port Campbell /Two mile Bay/The Arch/London Bridge (please note that the Personalised Half Day Tour can be scheduled on any of the four days).   This package also includes: One seafood dinner at Waves Restaurant Daily transfers to and from Port Campbell to Great Ocean Walk each day Three nights accommodation at Portside Motel with continental breakfast Packed lunches on walk days Sunset at the Twelve Apostles or one evenings viewing of short tailed shearwaters returning to their burrows after sunset at Muttonbird Island   This package is available for small groups from 4 - 10 people. For guests who wish to take up this package and travel by train from Southern Cross Station, we can arrange pickup and return from Camperdown train station which is some 40kms from Port Campbell. The price is $650 per person and minimum of 4 people applies. A $35pp surcharge applies between 25th December 2011 and 26th January 2012, and from 6th - 9th April. This package is not available after 30th April. Package is subject to availability of providers.
